MAY 1,
2000--In February 1999, Tarrant
Business profiled Relocation Property Services, an Arlington firm that assists relocating
employees by providing the information and contacts to help make the transition to a new
city.
"We've had quite a bit of growth since
then," says Shelley Seale, owner of the firm. "I'd say we've grown 30
percent in the last year."
Seale says the company has added
international relocations to its repertoire, recently helping an East Coast executive with
a move to the Netherlands. The firm has also added two employees: Debbie
Starr, a relocation coordinator who assists with international moves, and Aimee Hasty, who
handles corporate housing.
And it has continued its community
involvement, contributing 10 percent of its profits to charities and nonprofit
organizations.
Seale has also launched the Girls Who Dare
program, which introduces at-risk girls to the possibility of entrepreneurship. She
received the Volunteer of the Year award from Arlington Youth Services.
"We believe it's really important to
make a difference in the community," she says.
